Some people say that the spiritual home of pinot noir is down south – maybe near Melbourne or even in Tassie – but we know it is up here in the heart of the Victorian Alps. Bogong Estate lies in the morning shadow of Mt Bogong, near the delightful village of Mt Beauty at the top end of the Kiewa River Valley. Skiing fanatics will know we are 30 minutes from Falls Creek, the best ski resort in Australia.

Because we are " the pinot people" that is what we do- that’s it –nothing else. No chardonnay- no shiraz- zip-just pinot noir ! We live, eat, breathe and drink pinot-perhaps we talk about it far too much.
I guess we should be forgiven - we have 25 acres of pinot first planted nearly 15 years ago. We can now produce up to 4500 cases of handmade cool climate pinot. Our ambition is to make the best Australian pinot noir.
