Our main pinot on current release, this is a lovely all round pinot. A blend of wild and cultured yeast ferments. The 2008 is a bigger style pinot. Upfront cherry big fruits smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Already drinking beautifully. This is big enough for the unreconstructed shiraz drinker but varietal enough for the pinot lover.

Bogong Estate 2005 Pinot Noir - $25 cellar door (cd)
This is a lovely all round pinot with a bit of age and drinking well. A blend of 10 batches, around 60% wild or natural yeast ferments. Each batch was picked and processed individually and brought together to make a more complex and satisfying whole. This is great with all sorts of high protein dishes, steak, roasts duck and other game. .
Bogong Estate 2005 "wild ferment" Pinot Noir - $25 cd
This is a single batch cellar door line. It is the product of a wild yeast ferment which has given the wine great character, nice raspberry fruit upfront and good tannins. No filtering fining or other winemaking interventions. This wine is lovely with duck,kangaroo and other robust game dishes.
Bogong Estate Le Jour Pinot Noir 2002 ( late release)
$20 cd
This was too big to release early on but is drinking very nicely now. Dark fruits spice plums were typical characters in all the 2002 wines. The Le Jour has these and has developed some very nice savoury notes as pinot tends to do with age. Earthy forest floor truffely overtones make this wine a great accompaniment to a mushroom risotto or similar.

This is a soft approachable style of wine, having spent only 4 days on skins. This is drinking very well with italian style dishes- any meaty tomato dish. Stocks are low and the 2008 version will be bottled shortly.
Bogong Estate white rose 2008- $15 cd only
Bottled before christmas in 500ml bottles this is full flavoured but dry summer drink. As the weather cools it goes well with spicy dishes and full flavoured fish dishes. The fruit upfront and big mid palate will see this continue to develope. A 750ml will be released shortly.
Bogong Estate "My Dear A..." - $25 cd currently unavailable
One of our small experimental batches- this is a madeira style wine that works fantastically with chocolate and soft cheeses. It starts sweet but finishes dry. Rich fruits raisins and a complex array of flavours. It demonstrates just how versatile pinot noir is. This is only available to our cellar door guests.
